Dear Murali,

Hi rev
Yes I too came to know about it from Hari. I do not know where she got the idea about me, but it is very flattering!! Shows that there are many hidden facets in a child's thoughts !!

I beleive we have to recognise the fact that age could be a barrier in always being in the loop. For me, I do not want to be in any loop since I want to be insulated from talks and comments that I do not need to be concerned with. Like Appa, I am perfectly fine being in the dark. I do speak out on matters of conduct, temperament when it becomes necessary. I am trying not to react to specific events or incidents but will convey my opinion in a general sort of way when we are all together
Take care,
Affly..Murali

I read the blog too, makes wonderful reading, indeed THOSE WERE the days to recall and rejoice. Life was much simpler or is it simply that our parents took all the hardship and made us enjoy these things?
I am not sure that we are made the same way. Lesson to learn...give more and ask for less, learn to bear any discomfort it is going to satisfy someone else. Do not complain. We are among the more fortunate ones to have reasonable comforts in life (unlike our parents!!)...
With those kind words, thanks for the posts, it was very enjoyable,,,affly..Murali

I remember having dropped by my class friend Shahjahan's home on the way home from school, and playing in the room that was filled with groundnuts (floor to ceiling). This place was near the tank bund..murali .

hanging from the ceiling for womens privacy. Really nice place Thirumangalam. everyting in our life we owe to our Parents simplicity and honesty.
and Amma made all the activities so interesting.
Viju remembers her everyday, as they had additional fun during Kalpakkam days Hari remembers Thaththa more.
Srinath goes silent if I begin to talk abt them.
