Yes, we usually travel to Madurai and stay there, and tale a travel car to go SRivilliputtur. It takes about 90 minutes. Last time we could take food in one of the mess-type hotels near the temple (our type of food) and return to Madurai by about 3 pm to 4 pm depending upon the time at the temple. Koil is open till about 12.30 pm in morning and opens by 5 in the evening..Murali.

Yes Rev,  as years pass by us and we see the quality of people around us in the society, the parents, the children, and others, we realise more and more how great noble souls our parents have been, sacrificing everything they had without a thought or expectation from us. And true to our (at least I) selfish nature, we only looked at our interests and did not show any gratitude or kindness to them (Krithagyan, I think is the right word).  I guess,  at the least we should try and follow their values, renounce self interest completely and develop the same qualities in our children, and their's..affly..Murali

To my dear sister, wishing you Many Many more Happy Returns of the Day. May Lord Sriman Narayana shower you with his Blessings, peace of mind, Happiness and Good Health. Above all may he also bless you Happy union with all your siblings, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, and Grand children. They are the ones who make you happy and I am sure they will wish you the very best of life too.

Affly
From Vasanthi and me, Sajjan & Suja, and Chittu
